Privacy Policy
This policy explains what the Super Sports! developer site keeps about you, why, and what you can do about it. The site holds the team's bug reports, tasks, milestones and builds, and is only for people the team gives a role in the Super Sports! Discord.
In short
- We only keep what the site needs to work: your Discord profile, what you post, and your settings.
- We don't use advertising, tracking cookies or analytics, and we never sell anything.
- What's posted here is only shown to signed-in team members.
- You can ask to see, correct or remove your information at any time.
Information we collect
- When you log in with Discord: your Discord user ID, username, display name and avatar, and which roles you have in the Super Sports! server (they decide what you can see). We never see your Discord email address or password.
- What you post: bug reports, comments, tasks, checklists, milestones and builds, and the screenshots, videos and other files you attach. Each is saved with your name and the time.
- Your activity: the notifications sent to you, when you last used the site, and things like marking a bug as "I can reproduce this too".
- Your settings: whether you want notifications as Discord DMs, and which kinds.
- Technical information: like any website, our hosting provider sees your IP address, browser and the pages you open, and keeps short-lived logs to keep the site running and secure.
How we use information
- To log you in and work out what you can see and do from your Discord roles.
- To show your name and avatar next to what you post, so the team knows who to talk to.
- To send you notifications in the site and, if you've left them on, as Discord DMs.
- To keep the site secure and to fix problems.
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on our legitimate interest in running the team's tools and keeping them secure, and on your choice in Settings for Discord DMs (you can turn them off at any time).
Cookies and browser storage
We only use cookies the site needs. There are no advertising, tracking or analytics cookies.
- ss_dev_session: keeps you logged in, for up to 30 days or until you log out.
- ss_oauth_state: protects the Discord login against forgery; it lasts 10 minutes while you log in.
- dev_theme and dev_view: remember light or dark mode and whether you like the list or the board, for a year.
- The browser's session storage holds one note so an open page reloads itself only once after the site is updated.
The site's fonts come from Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google's servers for them, which shares your IP address with Google.
How long we keep information
- Your profile and what you post: as long as the team uses the site. If your role is removed you lose access straight away; what you posted stays, under your name, so the history still makes sense.
- Deleted bug reports: in the trash for 30 days, then removed for good with their files.
- Notifications: until you clear them from your inbox.
- Logins: 30 days at most, and you can end them all at once in Settings.
- Hosting logs: a few days.
Who processes information for us
- Cloudflare hosts the site, its database and the files you upload.
- Discord logs you in and tells us your roles. If you've left them on, it delivers your notifications as DMs. If the team has set one up, a private Discord channel gets the title, severity, place and reporter of each new bug report, and a note when a build is ready for testing.
- Google Fonts serves the site's fonts.
We don't sell information or share it for advertising.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- show you the information we have about you, or give you a copy;
- correct it (your Discord name and avatar update by themselves each time you log in);
- delete it, or stop or limit how we use it.
Email hello@supersports.io (or ask an admin in the Super Sports! Discord). We answer within one month. If you're in the EU, the UK or another place with similar laws, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This is a working tool for the Super Sports! team and isn't meant for children. You need to be old enough to use Discord where you live (at least 13).
Security
The site only works over HTTPS, login cookies are signed so they can't be faked, your roles are checked on every click, and uploaded files are only shown to signed-in team members. You can log yourself out everywhere in Settings, and admins can do it for you if a device is lost.
Contact
For questions about this policy, or to use any of your rights, email hello@supersports.io. You can also ask an admin in the Super Sports! Discord.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this policy when the site or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we'll mention big changes in the Discord.
